How We Got Here
Like the rest of the country, we saw our worlds change in an instant in March 2020. Our communities shut down, businesses floundered, and friends and family became fearful.Contact tracing was immediately implemented by health departments around the country as a tool for slowing the spread of COVID-19 and keeping communities safe. For Valerie Schlitt, founder and CEO of nationally recognized, HIPAA-compliant call center VSA Prospecting, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to help.
Public Safety and Economic Growth (PubSEG) was born.
Valerie had started VSA out of her living room in 2001 with a single client. Today, the best-in-class lead generation firm works with clients in complex industries across the country and around the world.
With VSA’s advanced technology, skilled staff, and two decades of communications experience within multiple industries (including healthcare), Valerie knew the company already had the infrastructure and knowledge in place for effective contact tracing. She formed a dedicated PubSEG team within VSA and quickly expanded the new organization with a large pool of experienced contact tracers and supervisors, prioritizing those from medical, public health, and social work backgrounds.
Two years later, PubSEG remains committed to making a meaningful difference in the battle to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Who We Help
PubSEG’s first client was a multi-state university system, consisting of six campuses across three states. Since then we have continued to work with colleges, universities, and K-12 schools around the country, as well as with private businesses.
PubSEG’s services are available to any school or company in need of contact tracing assistance. Our programs are always customized to fit your needs. If you have protocols and a process in place, we take the time to learn your approach and train our tracers to follow exactly what you have developed.
